LINCOLN, Neb. —
Nebraska defensive back DeShon Singleton received a pair of honors after his standout performance in the Huskers' win against Michigan State.
Singleton had six tackles and two interceptions in Nebraska's 38-27 victory .

He was named the Big Ten defensive player of the week and also was recognized as the East-West Shrine Bowl's "Breakout Defensive Player of the Week."
His two interceptions were a career high.
The last Nebraska football player to receive Big Ten defensive weekly honors was JoJo Domann in 2021.
