MACON, Ga. — A man was shot at a west Macon bus stop Monday afternoon at the Harrison Road Walmart , according to the Bibb County Sheriff's Office. That's off of Eisenhower Parkway.

They say a 48-year-old man was shot at the bus stop near the Walmart at around 12:30 p.m.

Paramedics responded to the scene at took the victim to the hospital.

They say the victim is currently listed in stable condition.

The Bibb County Sheriff's Office says they are still working to figure out what led up to the shooting and the investigation remains ongoing.
