Contrary to online rumors, the free coffee at Dave's Marketplace is not going away.

"It’s a disgusting rumor," said Susan Budlong, director of marketing and communications. "No, we are not getting rid of coffee."

The self-serve coffee stations at Dave's, which has ten locations across Rhode Island, are an extremely popular feature and a hallmark of the grocery store.

An anonymous post on Reddit drew widespread attention and spirited debate over the weekend.
