CONCORD, N.H. —

A New Hampshire Supreme Court justice is pleading guilty to a charge connected to accusations she tried to influence a criminal case against her husband.

In a fully negotiated plea, Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi is pleading guilty to a charge of criminal solicitation (misuse of position). The maximum penalty for this misdemeanor charge is a $1,200 fine.

Her trial had originally been scheduled for November. Instead, she will plead guilty at a hearing scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.

Her husband, New Hampshire Port Authority Director Geno Marconi, has pleaded not guilty to two felony and four misdemeanor charges. He was accused of providing confidential motor vehicle records to another person and deleting at least one voice mail related to an investigation.
