The New Hampshire Attorney General's Office and New Hampshire State Police have announced that one person has been arrested in connection with the deaths of two women in Bath.

According to officials, just after 1 p.m., Bath police responded to 11 Tyler Way for a report of shots fired.

Upon arrival, authorities found 67-year-old Cindy Moody and her daughter, 39-year-old Kristal Moody, dead at the scene.

Police said both appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds.

Charles "Chuck" Readey, 73, was arrested after officials said he was found at the residence with a firearm.

Police said Readey is Cindy Moody's brother-in-law.
