BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Investigators are asking for the public’s help with an investigation into a deadly hit-and-run.

According to the Capital Region Crime Stoppers, the crash happened on Sunday, August 24, on Airline Highway near North Foster Drive.

Mack Willis III, 45, was struck by a vehicle and then died from his injuries after being rushed to a hospital.

Investigators said they believe Willis was hit by a dark colored sedan that was last seen headed north on Airline Highway. They added that the sedan is potentially a 2013-2018 Nissan Altima, is missing a right front corner bumper, and has damage to the front passenger side area.
