FOXBOROUGH - Patriots cornerback Carlton Davis III said the environment at Highmark Stadium Sunday night was pretty much what was expected.

It was loud and crazy. The Bills mafia, as they’ve been tabbed, didn’t disappoint.

But the Patriots got to experience something most teams haven’t been able to experience playing the Bills in front of their home crowd.

Andy Borregales’ 52-yard field goal, with 15 seconds left on the clock, proved the margin of victory for the Patriots, who upset the Bills 23-20 in primetime Sunday night.

“It was good to kind of silence that crowd,” Davis said during his media availability Monday. “After the field goal went in, the life just got taken out of the stadium.”
