DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) -- More details are coming out about this weekend’s fiery head-on crash on I-70 that left three dead and another hospitalized.
About 1:15 a.m. Sunday, Huber Heights dispatchers received a 911 call saying a driver had just taken the wrong ramp onto I-70 and was heading into oncoming traffic.
When police arrived at the 38 mile marker, they found two vehicles completely engulfed in flames.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Monday said a 55-year-old man driving a Chevy Tahoe entered I-70 at the Brandt Pike exit, and began traveling east in the westbound lanes.
The truck first hit a 25-year-old man who tried to avoid the Tahoe but was spun out into the center barrier.
