The Patriots endured their first season-ending injury in Sunday’s upset win over the Bills.
Running back Antonio Gibson suffered a torn ACL in the 23-20 Week 5 win and will miss the rest of the season, according to multiple reports.

Gibson suffered the injury on a kick return. Gibson took a hard shot to his legs on the play, which resulted in him fumbling the football. Replays showed that Gibson might have suffered the injury before contact, however.
The Patriots currently are left with Rhamondre Stevenson and TreVeyon Henderson at running back on their 53-man roster. The team also has Terrell Jennings on their practice squad for additional depth.
