FLINT -- Dave Beamer had an inkling that Jake Weingartz was the man to lead the Davison football program.

He also knows Weingartz isn’t the type to claim any type of personal achievements, so it was very under-the-radar – as Weingartz likes it – on Friday when he collected his 100th-career victory in a 57-14 win over East Lansing.
