Downtown Mesa businesses getting exterior upgrades on Main Street

Location: Main Street in downtown Mesa.

Description: Downtown Mesa businesses will get façade improvements to modernize the exteriors and demolish the current shade structures covering the sidewalks.

The city started the program in 2018 for eight businesses. The program helped attract new small businesses and convert low-activity spaces to higher and better uses, according to the Downtown Mesa Association.
