Now in its sixth year, Sunday was the 19th edition of Musicians Against Hunger’s commitment to do its part to raise funds and food for the Brockville and Area Food Bank.

Five bands took to the stage at Finnigan’s Tavern from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and for the price of a donation of a non-perishable food item, great entertainment was enjoyed.

Primeau supported the 30-Hour Telethon for Palliative Care fundraiser throughout its 40 years.

In turn, Musicians Against Hunger has been strongly supported by 30-Hour Telethon personalities Bruce Wylie and Harper Cotie of 104.9FM.

Primeau cites their support as a key component to Musicians Against Hunger’s successful campaigns at Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.
