GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- A driver charged in connection to a fatal Greensboro crash last year entered a guilty plea.

Sydnee Dyson pleaded guilty to misdemeanor death by motor vehicle and was placed on 12 months of supervised probation, according to a chief assistant district attorney.

Her felony charges were dismissed. She must also complete 100 hours of community service, attend an eight-hour driving school and refrain from driving a vehicle for 12 months.

According to police, in early 2024, Sydnee Dyson was charged with two counts of felony failure to move over resulting in serious injury/death, one count of failure to reduce speed to avoid collision with a person/vehicle and one count of misdemeanor death by motor vehicle after turning herself in to authorities.
