Four months after quietly dismissing the paid staff, the leadership of The MINT says the organization is weathering a changed funding environment.

“In the spring ... most nonprofits, especially the arts nonprofits, lost a lot of grant money because of an across-the-board reduction in funding,” said MINT Board of Directors President Stefania Urist on Monday. “Specifically, we relied on a couple of really big education grants and arts grants.”
