HARTFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Residents acknowledged their neighbors affected by recent immigration enforcement on Monday amid calls for further protections on the state's immigrant communities.

Faith leaders led a vigil to flag recent spikes of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) activity across 32 Connecticut towns since the start of this year, according to CT Data Collaborative.

Hartford saw both the largest number of deportations and ICE arrests since last year into 2025.
