HBO's latest "Game of Thrones" prequel series, "A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms," will premiere in January 2026, the network confirmed.

"This Winter, Spring is Coming," the "Game of Thrones" X account posted Monday with a show poster. The network did not share an exact date in January for the premiere.

The six-episode series stars Irish actor Peter Claffey, a former rugby player whose past credits include "Bad Sisters," as Ser Duncan the Tall, the titular hedge knight. Dexter Sol Ansell is cast as his young sidekick, Egg.
