Auburn football’s 2026 season opener against Baylor is moving to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta and will be the 2026 Aflac Kickoff Game, the school announced on Monday.

The game was previously scheduled to be played at Jordan-Hare Stadium in Auburn after the two teams played in Waco to kick off the 2025 season.

According to the release, the game creates, “a first-of-its-kind opportunity for Auburn student-athletes to engage in name, image and likeness (NIL) activations tied directly to ticket sales, the Aflac Kickoff Game, and surrounding events.”
