Longueuil police are turning to the public to try and find more victims of potential sexual crimes.

The Service de police de l’agglomération de Longueuil (SPAL) says that on Sept. 24, officers took 69-year-old Marc Gagnon into custody in connection to alleged incidents between the 1970s and ’90s in the Saint-Hubert (Longueuil) and Montreal areas.

SPAL says five people have come forward, noting they were all minors at the time of the incidents.

Police add Gagnon is facing eight charges, including gross indecency, indecent exposure, and sexual assault.

It is believed there might be more potential victims, with incidents happening between 1970 and 2025.

Anyone who believes they might be a victim is asked to contact investigators at 450-463-7211.
