A Quebec man has been sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder and committing an indignity to a body in connection with the death of his wife, 34-year-old Robyn-Krystle O’Reilly.

Kevin Romagosa entered the guilty plea Monday morning at the Drummondville courthouse.

He had initially been charged with first-degree murder, but the case did not proceed to trial after a joint sentencing recommendation was accepted by the judge.

O’Reilly’s body was discovered in August 2023 along a rural road in Wickham, located in Quebec’s Centre-du-Québec region, about 100 kilometres south
