AUBURN — An open week didn't provide much rest for the Auburn football program, head coach Hugh Freeze said Monday, Oct. 6, as the Tigers were tasked with a similar circumstance as in seasons past.
After racing out to an undefeated start, Auburn entered the first off-week of its season on a two-game losing streak, falling to No. 6 Oklahoma and No. 5 Texas A&M . They were road losses, and they came by a combined 13 points, but the Tiger offense sputtered in both affairs, resurfacing familiar questions that still haven't been answered under Freeze.
"We’ve studied it all," Freeze said. "There wasn’t much time off during the open week for the staff, or the kids, truthfully, looking for ways to make sure we improve that."
