With one building completed and a second on the way, Twin Creek Apartments is bringing needed low-income housing to Helena.
“This will be a new opportunity for new Helena families,” property manager Theresa Hearen said. “We’re excited to be that.”
The $10 million housing project, built by United Housing Partners, provides 72 units at the corner of Alice and Dorothy streets in the city's east side.
The rooms are split between two buildings: Twin Creek 9 serving one-bedroom units, and Twin Creek 4 serving one-, two- and three-bedroom plans.
It’s exclusively for low-income applicants, reserving 35 units for residents earning up to 70% area median income (AMI), 25 units for residents earning up to 60% AMI, and 12 units for those earning 30% AMI or less.
