YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) - Over the summer, a local Puerto Rican restaurant, Red Rican, opened its second location in Campbell. It's a family business that's expanding.

When brothers Jonathan and Carmelo Morales moved to Youngstown as kids, the first thing they looked for was a new favorite restaurant.

"We thought, let's go to a nice Puerto Rican restaurant. And there was nothing, nothing at all, when we moved here from New York City. That was something that there was nothing that represented us," Jonathan said.

The Morales' grew up working for their dad's family restaurant, and in 2022, Jonathan Morales opened his first food truck, called the Red Rican.
