Here’s hoping this goes better than Cracker Barrels’ attempt at a new logo.
Long John Silver’s, which operates fast-food seafood restaurants in dozens of states, announced earlier this month that it would be redesigning its logo to replace an illustration of a fish with that of a “stylized chicken.” Accompanying the new logo will also be wording reading “Chicken + Seafood,” according to a press release.
The "unexpected" change, which is already in effect on the Long John Silver’s website and on social media, was made to “spotlight” the brand’s chicken offerings, the company indicated.
