Jennifer Lopez handled a potentially awkward moment with humor during an Oct. 6 interview on the “Today” show after host Craig Melvin brought up her recent divorce from Ben Affleck.

Lopez appeared on the morning show to discuss her new movie, “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” when the topic shifted.

“In the middle of filming this elaborate, beautiful musical, your divorce was also finalized with Ben,” Melvin started to say .

“There you go! Look at this guy!” Lopez interjected before Melvin finished his question.

The host quickly noted Affleck’s involvement in the project, saying, “but then I read that your ex is an executive producer on the film.”

Lopez, who laughed off the exchange, praised Affleck for his role in the movie’s creation.
