CINCINNATI, Ohio — Jake Browning is coming off a three-interception game on Sunday in a 37-24 Bengals loss to the Lions.
Immediately after the game, Bengals coach Zac Taylor did not commit to keeping Browning as the starter when Cincinnati heads to Green Bay for a Week 6 showdown on Sunday.
On Monday, when directly asked if Browning would start Sunday’s game, Taylor’s response was again non-committal:
“We’ll see where it goes. You know, I think like all personnel decisions, we got to evaluate it. Jake’s been very accountable for how the game went for him. I’ve got to be accountable for how the game went for me as well. And so we’ll continue to progress here through the days,” he told reporters at his press conference.
