Federal authorities say a ranking Latin King street gang member sought the murder of top Border Patrol official Gregory Bovino by sending a Snapchat message that read, “10k if u take him down.”
The allegations are contained in a federal criminal complaint that only identifies the alleged target as “a senior law enforcement member of the Border Patrol Operation ‘Midway Blitz’ in Chicago.” But Bovino was the target, a federal law enforcement source in Chicago has confirmed for the Sun-Times.
