CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A crash in the University City area of Charlotte left seven people hurt on Monday.
The crash happened on North Tryon Street near University Pointe Boulevard around 5 p.m. One person suffered serious injuries while six people suffered minor injuries, according to Medic.
The crash shut down traffic in the area for over an hour, according to the Charlotte Transportation Management Center.
It's unclear what led to the crash or how many vehicles were involved. The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department has not released any information about the crash.
