SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) – A nine year old boy from Brandon, South Dakota will be at the Masters Golf Tournament in Augusta, Georgia next spring.
He's not going to just watch, but also to compete.
Miles Lunning's golf game is slightly better than par, especially when it comes to putting.
"It's pretty fun, I get to see the ball go in the hole," Miles said.
Miles' putting skills were showcased last week in the regional qualifying golf tournament in Minneapolis for the Drive, Chip and Putt contest.
"Well I was pretty excited, but nervous at the same time," Miles said.
Players earn points by hitting their drives long and accurate, and putting their chips and putts close to or in the hole.
Miles says his strategy was pretty simple.
"Just have fun," Miles said.
