SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Ryan Vanden Hoek of Sioux Falls and Steve Harrison of Harrisburg are the namesakes of the show "Unconfined Conversations with Ryan & Steve," which launched Friday.

"We see the importance of it, and as discussed with you before, it's important for the next generation," Harrison said Monday.

Their new show, examining life behind and beyond prison walls, is now on YouTube, Facebook and X, and there are plans for it to eventually be available as a podcast. The show focuses on the humanity of anyone spending time behind bars. It's a topic they each know personally; both Harrison and Vanden Hoek have spent significant time incarcerated.
