KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Several students at Shoemaker High School become ill on Oct. 6 after consuming a substance believed to be THC edibles, said Principal Mary Lynn Gawryszewski.
“We hope they make a full and speedy recovery. The situation will be handled in accordance with Killeen ISD’s Student Code of Conduct and district policy,” Gawryszewski further said.
The principal asked parents to take a moment to talk with their children about the dangers of consuming edibles.
Shoemaker High School is located at 3302 Clear Creek Road in Killeen.
