EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEHT) -- Emanuel Lutheran Church is known for their chicken and dumplings, but this year, Fall Festival goers will not be able to see them the whole week.

This year booth 18 is taking a big hit with their lack of volunteers. This ultimately has resulted in limiting the amount of days they will be open this week, but that hasn't stopped the long lines formed for their famous chicken and dumplings.

“It's always so awesome to see how many people love these chicken and dumplings,” Jakob Dixon said. “I always eat it. My family loves it. It's just so awesome to see the support from everybody else out here.”

Dixon runs the booth with his family and is sad to see they will only be open for three days this year, but knows that no one should be overworked in order to pull it off
