MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -Belleville emergency medical services (EMS) will soon be supporting a broader community, including the village and town of New Glarus.
New Glarus entered into a partnership with Belleville EMS after the Village and Town Boards approved the partnership on Wednesday. The goal is for crews to provide the highest quality of EMS care in the area.
Josh Wescott is the deputy chief for the Belleville EMS department. He says that the partnership has been an idea on and off for years.
