One Desert Hot Springs restaurant was investigated this week due to a complaint, then temporarily closed and reopened despite a failed health inspection all within the same day, according to reports.

Pho Na 92 in Desert Hot Springs voluntarily closed because it did not have properly functioning cookline refrigeration units, and the only employee working could not demonstrate proper cleaning and sanitizing of food contact surfaces. However, once the ware wash station was properly set up, the facility was allowed to reopen, even though it scored a "C" on its inspection.
