FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) - As of Monday, the Nov. 4 special election is less than a month away.
Early in-person voting began Monday and mail-in ballots are on their way to voters after being shipped Monday morning.
It’s been a dead sprint for election offices across the state to get all the ballots ready in time.
The Fresno County Elections office sent out approximately 530,000 mail-in ballots.
Fresno County Registrar of Voters James Kus says he and his team have worked long hours to ensure every ballot is prepared properly.
But the work is only halfway done as official counting begins.
