Kennedy Brandenburg of La Center girls soccer is The Columbian 2025-26 Week 3 high school athlete of the week, sponsored by Killer Burger.

Brandenburg picked up 849 of the 1,665 votes cast this week to win the honor.

The freshman had four goals and three assists in three league wins for the Wildcats.

In the included video, Brandenburg answers three questions posed by her teammate: Would she rather swim in the ocean or a lake, is she a morning person or night person and would she rather have no more pizza parties or birthday cake?
