Alexandra Goins factored into all four Middletown North goals, scoring two of her own and assisting on two more, as it blanked Matawan to pick up a 4-0 win in Aberdeen.

Middletown North found the back of the net once in each of the first and second quarters before opening the second half with two insurance tallies in the third.

Izzy Szotak scored one goal and assisted on a second while Ireland McCauley notched the remaining tally.

Abigail Sarin and Brianna Soto recorded one assist each and Emily Montalto-Zadroga made two saves in goal to record the shutout for Middletown North (5-6).

Olivia Haag had a busy night in goal with 32 saves for Matawan (1-7).
