MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Record highs were set Monday with summer-like warmth felt across New Hampshire.
Normal highs for early October are in the mid-60s, meaning Monday's temperatures were about 20 degrees above average.
Manchester hit 86 degrees, breaking the previous record of 82 set in 2007.
Concord also reached 86 degrees, surpassing the 1990 record of 84.

Portsmouth climbed to 87 degrees, breaking the 1997 record of 82, while Lebanon hit 85 degrees, topping the 1963 record of 81.
Temperatures will remain above average Tuesday, with highs in the low 80s.
Cooler, more seasonable weather returns Wednesday, with highs in the 60s, before dipping below average Thursday, with highs in the 50s.
