MANCHESTER, N.H. —
New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi is expected to plead no contest to a charge that she misused her position.
In a fully negotiated plea , Anna Barbara Hantz Marconi is pleading no contest to a charge of criminal solicitation (misuse of position).
She is accused of trying to influence a criminal case against her husband, New Hampshire Port Authority Director Geno Marconi.

At the center of this case is Hantz Marconi's meeting with then-Gov. Chris Sununu.
Her defense attorneys said she never broke the law.
The maximum penalty for the charge she is facing is a $1,200 fine.
