LAS VEGAS (KLAS) -- October 4 marked a dark anniversary in the annals of Las Vegas crime. On that date in 1986, a 15-year-old Las Vegas girl named Sandy Shaw was arrested, charged with one of Nevada's most sensational murder cases of the 20th century, a crime that came to be known as the "Show and Tell Murder." Sandy Shaw is out of prison and granted an exclusive interview with Chief 8 News Now Investigator George Knapp.
News cameras have documented Shaw's physical transformation over the decades. During the original trial, she resembled a diminutive waif. She eventually morphed into a seemingly despondent inmate who feared she would never be released from prison.
In 2025, Shaw is living a normal life, having been paroled and pardoned for her crimes. She has risen to a management positio
