LUBBOCK, Texas -- Around 9 p.m. on Monday, the Wolfforth Police Department began pursuing a vehicle on Slide Road heading southbound. The Lubbock County Sheriff's Department was also involved once the vehicle crossed FM 1585 and Highway 62-82.

The vehicle made its way into Brownfield before being detained by Lubbock County sheriff's deputies at the intersection of South Third Street and West Cardwell Street. It is unknown what caused the chase. The identity of the suspect also remains unknown.
