FRANKLIN, Ky. (WBKO) -On Monday night, there was a full moon and Franklin-Simpson Parks and Rec took full advantage by having a full moon hike.
Recently, they launched a new program that focuses on environmental education. Monday night’s full moon hike is the first event within the new program.
The goal of the new program is to educate community members on different things involving the environment and ecosystems.
Zach Vincent is the Environmental Education Leadership Corps member for Franklin-Simpson Parks and Rec and instructed the full moon hike.
