The collaboration between the Toledo Public Schools Aerospace and Natural Science Academy and the Bowling Green State University School of Aviation is an excellent example.

The TPS aviation magnet school provides high school students with the opportunity to get Federal Aviation Administration airframe and powerplant certifications.

Students who achieve that goal can now enter the BGSU aviation program with 28 credit hours, equivalent to a full year of college credit, and earn a bachelor’s degree in three years specializing in management and operations or flight technology and operations.
