SPRINGBORO, Ohio — Van Buren’s Addyson Adams and Fremont St. Joseph’s Ryan Dickman are in the mix for potential top-10 finishes at the OHSAA Division II girls golf state tournament at Heatherwoode Golf Club.
Adams is tied for eighth after a 4-over-par 75 at the tournament’s midpoint following play Monday. She is five shots in back of tournament leader Eva Lim of Columbus Academy.
Dickman, meanwhile, is a shot back of Adams in a tie for 11th at 5-over 76.
In the team competition, Van Buren posted a 377 in Monday’s first round, good for a sixth-place showing. Wauseon and Archbold, meanwhile, are tied for eighth at 387.
Gahanna Columbus Academy has a 10-shot lead over Madeira after posting 317. Franklin Bishop Fenwick is third at 343, followed by Lagrange Keystone (349) and Chagrin Falls
