PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Calvin Austin III had no definitive update on his shoulder injury when speaking on Monday.
Austin did not rule out missing the next few games, including an IR stint, but would not give a definite timeline nor would he talk about the specifics of his injury.
“I have no clue about that,” Austin said. “I’m just taking it a day at a time. Listening to the medical staff, Coach T, and whenever that time is, I’ll be ready.”
Austin was sent to a local hospital and put in a sling after immediately suffering the injury. Croke Park did not have an X-ray machine locally, though those X-rays came back as negative for Austin.
