HONOKAA (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of the Hawaii Island’s most famous residents has officially sold their home and got a lot more than the asking price.

The sale for television star and comedian Roseanne Barr’s macadamia nut farm in Honokaa just closed for a $2.6 million.

The 46 acre property which went on the market in August for 2 million received more than ten offers including buyers from neighbor island, the U.S. mainland and three from European countries.

In the end, the winning buyer ended up being a neighboring cattle rancher.
