Police crackdown on illegal use of e-bike and e-dirt bikes in Kapolei and Ewa

EWA-KAPOLEI (HawaiiNewsNow) - Honolulu Police Department officers worked in Ewa and Kapolei to address the illegal use of electric bikes and electric dirt bikes.

HPD shared on their social media the results from the crackdown that took place Oct. 2.

In total, 4 arrests were made, 31 citations and 5 e-dirt bikes recovered.

Police remind the public e-dirt bikes are off-road only and not street legal.
