OTT reality show Rise and Fall continues to captivate audiences, but its recent controversy has brought in conversations about the well-being of contestants. Contestant Akriti Negi recently tried to leave the show after citing mental health issues, only to be told that quitting would involve paying a whopping Rs 1 crore in penalty charges for violating her contract.

The controversy happened after a clip of Akriti walking off the set. She was visibly agitated after a war of words with co-contestant Arjun Bijlani. In the clip, Akriti declared that she wanted to quit at once, alleging that the stress that the show generated was taking a toll on her.
