An animal charity which launched nearly 10 years ago is closing its doors.
The 3Rs Horse Rescue Centre has been run by Susan Murdoch and Gordon Chisholm at Kirkclaugh near Gatehouse since 2016.
However, with “heavy hearts” they have announced the closure of the centre, which has also helped young people gain confidence and social skills through outdoor activities based around horse-riding, animal care and gardening.
