BROOKLYN, New York (WABC) -- Police are searching for a suspect accused of sexually abusing a woman and burglarizing her apartment in Brooklyn.
Investigators say he entered the apartment through a kitchen window and placed a pillow over the 43-year-old victim's head. He then tied her wrists, made sexual advances, and performed a lewd act.
This happened after 3:30 a.m. on Monday on Pilling Street and Evergreen Avenue in Bushwick.
Investigators stated he stole her cell phone and watch then ran away from the scene.
The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
He was last seen wearing a white baseball cap and black sweatshirt.
