A New York City Sanitation worker who was nearing retirement was allegedly decapitated by his girlfriend’s troubled teenage son inside a Staten Island home Monday, according to cops and sources.

Police responded to a shocking 911 call of a man stabbed — and reportedly decapitated — inside a Cary Avenue home in West Brighton just after 4:20 p.m. and discovered the 45-year-old victim with multiple stab wounds to his head and neck, according to the NYPD. 3

The victim — whose head was chopped off his body, according to sources — was pronounced dead at the scene, cops said.

The 19-year-old son of the victim’s girlfriend was arrested at the scene, but has not yet been charged, according to sources and friends.
